Privacy Policy
Court Mind is built around a specific promise: your reflection stays with you. This policy describes, in plain language, exactly what happens to the things you say to the app.
Short version
- Your match analyses, weekly pulses, gameplans, and routine live in your device's local storage. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them.
- When you use any mode that generates AI responses (analysis, pre-match prep, weekly pulse, routine builder, release chat), the text you type or speak is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing, and their response is returned to your device. We do not store that text on our servers.
- The "Release" mode conversation is not saved anywhere — not on your device, not on our servers. Each session ends when you leave the screen.
- Account creation requires an email address, which is stored by our authentication provider, Supabase. We do not link the email to your reflections or share it with anyone else.
- Subscription billing is handled by Apple (via the App Store) and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
- We use Vercel's privacy-respecting web analytics to count page visits on the website. No cookies, no personal data, no fingerprinting, no third-party sharing. The native mobile app does not run analytics.
- We do not use tracking pixels, advertising IDs, or third-party SDKs that collect personal data.
What Court Mind collects and stores
On your device (local storage only)
- Your first name (used for personalization in prompts)
- Your saved match analyses, pre-match gameplans, weekly pulses, and your active between-point routine
- The raw answers you gave in each questionnaire, saved alongside each result so you can review them later
- A counter of how many free analyses and gameplans you have used (used to show the paywall after the free tier is exhausted)
You can clear all of this by deleting the app from your device.
Through your account (Supabase)
- Your email address and a hashed password
- A user identifier (UUID) that links your account between devices
We use Supabase to store account credentials and authenticate sessions. Supabase never receives your match analyses, gameplans, or any reflection content — only the data needed to log you in. Their privacy policy is at supabase.com/privacy.
Through subscriptions (Apple App Store + RevenueCat)
If you subscribe to Court Mind Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple (or Google, on Android) according to their respective billing policies. We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status from Apple's receipts.
What RevenueCat receives:
- Your anonymous Court Mind user identifier (a UUID)
- Apple's receipt confirming the purchase
- Subscription metadata (start date, renewal date, plan tier)
RevenueCat does not receive your email, name, payment details, or any reflection content. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
On Anthropic's API (transient processing)
When you submit a questionnaire or a release-chat message, the text contents (along with your first name, if you provided one) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the AI response.
Anthropic's data handling is governed by their API Terms and their privacy policy. Per those terms, inputs sent to the Claude API for commercial use are not used to train their models.
We do not log, store, or otherwise retain your questionnaire inputs or AI responses on any server we operate. Our backend is a single serverless function that relays the request to Anthropic and returns the response.
Through Vercel Web Analytics (web only)
The Court Mind website (not the mobile app) uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to each page. Vercel's analytics are designed for privacy:
- No cookies are set
- No personal data, IP addresses, or device fingerprints are stored
- Visit counts are aggregated; individual users are not identifiable
- Data is not shared with advertisers or third parties
Mobile app builds (iOS and Android) do not run Vercel Analytics.
What Court Mind does NOT collect
- Your phone number
- Your location
- Your contacts, photos, or any other device data beyond the microphone input required for voice-to-text (which is processed on-device by the operating system's speech recognition, not sent to our servers)
- Crash reports or analytics
- Advertising identifiers, tracking cookies, or marketing pixels
- Any identifier from third-party social or advertising networks
Children
Court Mind is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Third parties
Court Mind shares limited data with these providers, each for a specific purpose:
- Anthropic — receives the text of your questionnaire answers and release-chat messages to generate AI responses.
- Supabase — stores your account email + hashed password to authenticate your sessions.
- RevenueCat — receives your anonymous user identifier and Apple subscription receipts to confirm your subscription tier.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — handles all payment processing, including credit card details we never see.
- Vercel (website only) — hosts the website and provides privacy-respecting visit counts (no cookies, no personal data).
No other third-party service receives any of your data.
Your rights
- Access / export: ask us for a copy of your account email and any subscription metadata we hold.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your account, including the email and user identifier stored in Supabase. (Match content is on your device — uninstall the app to remove it.)
- Subscription cancellation: managed entirely through your Apple ID Subscriptions settings or Google Play account.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@equanimityengine.com.
